Just got done reading an article about the improbability of Military airships due to the limited supply of helium at our disposal. Kind of ridiculous, the whole concept of balloon travel. It's slow, looks ridiculous, and just down right dangerous considering a majority of gases used in such concepts are so incredibly flammable (hello Hindenburg). Soon after a long YouTube search binge of flaming zeppelins crashing into the ground I began to think about how the one thing that will always remain constant within these advances in science and technology is that people will always be looking for a new, cool, fast, or more efficient way to travel. As stated before I don't think I want to be caught puttering through the sky in an airship but many other innovations in travel that I've come across seem pretty cool. Gyroscopic, one wheeled motor cycles, automobiles that lean into turns, cars that even drive them selves. The list goes on and on and will only continue to get bigger as people think up more ways to look cool while they're moving and/or save some money while they do it.
Transportation is one of those things that innovators and dreamers will never ignore and I look forward to seeing more cool, smart, or crazy ways to move around in the coming years.
